Before Closet
As you can see here in the before photo, this closet started as a complete disaster zone. It’s a good size but the organization and set up just wasn’t right for the space. So I ripped everything out and started from scratch.
After pulling down the old wire shelving I painted the walls and added some fun peel and stick Star Wars wallpaper!
After Closet Makeover
Then I painted his old dresser and added some built-ins with 3/4″ MDF panels. Hooks were added for backpacks and sweatshirts and storage cubes for all that stuff that needs to be hidden away. Now the space is much more organized, functional, and just downright beautiful! I’m not even sure I’ll put the closet doors back on!
Again, head on over to the Home Depot blog to check out my full closet makeover post. There you will find all the links to products used in this children’s closet makeover! Looks great! Wish I had it for inspiration when my boys were younger! (They are now 34 and 38!) Wonderful use of color!
