DIY Easy and Inexpensive Children’s Closet Makeover

OK, someone pinch me! Not only is my son’s closet makeover done and amazing, but I got to do this baby as a Home Depot partner! I can’t even believe I get to say that! So flipping amazing. Below I will summarize a bit of what I did in this closet makeover but head on over to the Home Depot blog for full details on this project!

Supplies:

Before Closet

As you can see here in the before photo, this closet started as a complete disaster zone. It’s a good size but the organization and set up just wasn’t right for the space. So I ripped everything out and started from scratch.

After pulling down the old wire shelving I painted the walls and added some fun peel and stick Star Wars wallpaper!

Then I painted his old dresser and added some built-ins with 3/4″ MDF panels. Hooks were added for backpacks and sweatshirts and storage cubes for all that stuff that needs to be hidden away. Now the space is much more organized, functional, and just downright beautiful! I’m not even sure I’ll put the closet doors back on!

Again, head on over to the Home Depot blog to check out my full closet makeover post. There you will find all the links to products used in this children’s closet makeover!
